    I learned that going plastic free is very hard but cutting back is doable and I have acquired many new skills to accomplish that.  Thanks to all!!!

    It's the last day! I feel like I have learned so much about what I can do as a person in my daily life to make the world a little more waste-free. I will definitely be continuing many of these habits in the near future.

    YAY TEAM! It's the last day of the challenge and everyone has done so much!! I hadn't even noticed just how much plastic I use in my everyday life so I am so glad I did this challenge. It has been so cool seeing everyone's suggestions and comments too

    I have been up here in Canada Vancouver Island celebration vacation for my Birthday and And As I hike and walk around Places here I’ve been picking up litter on the beach.

    We got Jack in the Box today in a moment of heat induced weakness. I was so happy when my husband said to the cashier three times "No lid, no straw!" Baby steps :)

    First day of house hunting and packed my own plastic free snacks for the trip!

    We did our shopping yesterday, found a butcher and used our silicon pouches.  Put our collection of plastic bags from the past few weeks in the recycle bin at Fred Meyer (Ballard Market has one, also).  And haven’t used plastic garbage bags for our kitchen garbage in a few weeks. Going forward I am going to try to buy all vegetables “sans”...

    Took a salad to a potluck--covered with my beeswax wrap.  Salad contained non-plastic wrapped blueberries and raspberries that a friend of mine grew on Vashon Island.  So good!!!
