Finally got around to making my own toothpaste and shampoo. I’m also using a bamboo toothbrush. And they are so much cheaper than regular ones. 

Got a little glass jar of toothpaste in the mail today. One step closer to a plastic-free bathroom.

The green team garden is back on track, hoping to get some fun food enrichment growing for our animals in a few months. 

Did a beach clean up with AAZK today, found many different kinds of eyewear.

I have been so impressed with the support I've gotten from a few local restaurants when I bring in my own containers for togo orders! I used to be nervous to ask in fear of being an inconvenience, but the last two places had the same reaction: "Awesome, one less piece of plastic/Styrofoam being used!" and I even got a discount! 

Being on vacation and managing a plastic free challenge is a bit difficult. When we grocery shop we are trying to shop responsibly. 

I usually use bar soap, but this is my first time switching to bar shampoo and conditioner!! Bora Bora from unwrappedlife.com...it smells like the beach and saving species!
