Finished my second organized trash pick up last Friday with Jazzercise of Mckinney. It was not a huge success, butd  a lot of people told me that they love the idea that celebrate your birthday with meaningdul actions.

I’m staying away from plastic as mindfully as I can with some awareness of reusing anything possible. Still a chicken, but try to talk environment conservation to others as well.

Planted a variety of pepper plants. 

I just did my first park clean-up with friends to celebrate my birthday. Organizing a clean-up and inviting them to participate is also a way to show their love and support.

It is going ok. It just seems like single use plastic is hard to avoid regardless of the fact that I take my own bags and produce bags for groceries. 

Didn't use any utensils but have brought my own re-usable to have at work when needed.  Also, spread the word to my co-workers re: use of re-usable utensils.
