did my waste audit, paper towels are a definite wasteful habit that I have but also my sweet tooth also wastes a lot of little pieces of candy wrappers....I have to try and find a more sustainable sweet snack :)

Have definitely been using my new reusable coffee mug as an excuse to drink more Dunkin.

I have spent WAY too much time looking for sustainable socks but I've learned a lot from the process. Hope my $9 pair made of bamboo, organic cotton and recycled polyester are comfy. :)

Last day of the challenge and I completed all of my challenges! The waste audit was tough. Plastic packaging is a nightmare! I need more bulk purchasing options!

Last day! I wish this challenge was for longer than a month so I am more likely to keep up these good habits. I still think I will but the competitive aspect drives me even more. Thanks for the support, Team FLAQ!

How in the world are we on the last day of July already? There are so many one time challenges that I wanted to try, that I doubt I'll get to today. Here's to carrying on with new habits in the coming months.

Last day of plastic free July! Before this challenge, I thought I was already doing my part but I realized there is so much more work to do. This month has pushed me out of my comfort zone to try new things and make changes in my life. I am incredibly excited I was able to participate in this challenge and will continue some of the practices I learned!

Even though the challenge ends today I will continue to find ways to reduce plastics!
