Family and friends came to visit at the Sacramento Zoo today. They loved the reusable cups with the new sippy lids. No straws! :)

If anybody is also loathing all the plastic on toilet paper, Sprouts (at least the Sutterville one) has individual rolls that are wrapped in paper! I think they were only 99 cents too!

Today as I was picking up trash around my community, another bystander saw my efforts and joined in to help me out.  Leading by example is a useful tool for making new connections and spreading the word about litter and the need for sustainability!

Been bringing my reusable cup (with straw) everywhere. The odd looks from people are worth it, ha.

I bought my favorite Trader Joe's salads and realized they involve so much plastic packaging. Definitely makes me re-think this lunch option for the future!

I have to say that not mobile ordering my Starbucks is tough!!! BTW, did you all hear Starbucks is phasing out plastic straws within the next to years?
