I'm sad to say that I haven't been nearly as active in this challenge as I wanted to be. It definitely takes planning to avoid plastics in your everyday life. Gonna try harder this week!

Any suggestions for a good documentary on plastics?

Going to stop by the Package Free Shop in Brooklyn to find some alternatives to single use plastics.  They source all of their products from individuals with brands with missions to create positive environmental impact. 

Plastic free is the life for me.

Since this challenge only focuses on staff and volunteers, I feel like we need to find a way to directly involve our visitors. We need a fun and exciting social media campaign. Something like the Ice Bucket Challenge and fun like the Lonely Planet #stopsucking videos. Let's brainstorm!!
