Thank you for an excellent challenge! It was great being a part of an event to raise awareness of the ever increasing problem of plastic pollution.

Last day of the challenge, the new habits-turned-lifestyle-changes I started this month will hopefully help inspire others to do the same everyday. Let's all keep up the good work :)

For my last day of the challenge I picked up 6 nips bottles and 1 styrofoam cup during my run along the Thames this morning.  I'll of course keep the mini-clean-ups going once the challenge is over! :)

These changes are becoming habits. I actually decided to skip my afternoon Dunkin' Donuts iced coffee today because I did not have my reusable cup in the car with me. I would have felt too guilty to get a plastic cup!

Spreading the word about beeswax food wraps on Instagram, I have already had 2 people ask me where they can get some as they'd never heard of them :)

Ate at a restaurant and the plastic straws automatically came in the drinks.  UGH!!   Normally I just refuse to use them when they bring straws to the table but didn't even think to not ask for them to automatically come in the drink as that doesn't usually happen any place I've been (of course between being broke and having Celiac Disease I don't eat out often anyway so maybe this is a norm at many places.)

Last week was a challenge as I went out of town to see friends who don't understand the dangers of plastic pollution (like most people). I did eat at a farm to table restaurant and visited two breweries (New Belgium and Sierra Nevada) who are big on sustainability.
