Literally used no plastic at all today - I must be learning!

Ready to go on a trip &  my reusable shopping bags are packed! Plastic free August, here we come...

Today I used my reusable MD Zoo bag to help me carry composting containers at the zoo.

Great last dinner with friends to end plastic free July! Every last one of them said no to the straw! That was not something they were doing at the beginning of the month! We talked about this earlier, but it is has been interesting to see the motivation behind people cutting plastic out of their lives. For me, it’s the environment and the animals. But for them it’s supporting me 🙀 as we continue this challenge in our own lives tomorrow remember to contribute to share your journey with others and hopefully inspire them! But don’t forget to frame it in a way that they can relate to and support!

Yay Maryland Zoo! Although it’s not really about winning, but about lowering waste and saving the planet, winning the competition feels pretty dang good :)

Maryland Zoo rocks! We did it!!!

It has been SO great watching all of us come together to save the planet this month and have fun doing it! What an impact we have made by taking such small steps. GO TEAM!!
