Last night during Wild Summer Nights, I witnessed a mother teaching her child the difference between our garbage and recycling bins based off of the descriptions and images on the front!

The new lip balms came and I love them. But it means I need to wipe my hands after, so I just use the handkerchief I keep nearby.

Leaving Wild Summer Nights last night, Ally, Alyssa and I, had a friendly competition over how many pieces of trash we could pick up. We did something good for the environment and had fun at the same time!

Has anyone used or tried Dropps? https://www.dropps.com/

I bought a reusable straw cleaning brush this weekend! While I love reusable straws I've never felt fully satisfied that they are clean! Now I'll know for sure! I am so excited to use it!

I grabbed some fast food at lunch yesterday.  Pop is my vice.  I took my Zoo cup and asked if I could pay for a large but use my cup instead.  It took some explaining and clarifying...but it worked.

We could all start bringing our Zoo souvenir cups with us anytime we are out getting something nearby.  It could become a normal thing around town...then keep growing it out from there?

People don't realize you can bring your own cup to a lot of fast food restaurants!  The people at Chipotle (except one...) have finally stopped looking at me funny when I say I want to pay for a drink but don't need a cup :)

I encouraged my husband and father-in-law to skip the straws when we went out to lunch! Three less straws!

I'm feeling good about the small differences I can make on a daily basis.  I hope to influence family and friends along the way - in a positive manner.  My daughter and her boyfriend are changing their daily lives by switching to reusable tote bags - I'm so happy to plant the seed into young people's minds.  Once sprouted - it grows like mad!  :-)
