Karen Downing 7/31/2018 7:31 PMRecycling is the best and only choice in my life -
Bev Larson 7/31/2018 6:06 PMI still face some challenges with going plastic free. Today, the last day of the campaign, I used a plastic straw for my milkshake because my bag with my reusable straw was at home. I signed only one petition this month because that's all I could find. BUT we are now recycling #5 plastic (I drop it off at Whole Foods once a month.) And we are recycling plastic bags and packaging at Meijer. I have helped spread the word about plastic, and I hope that that has made a difference. I am exploring options for shampoo and other products that aren't sold in plastic. -
Karen Schenk 7/31/2018 10:36 AMPlanning to keep the plastic free efforts and new habits going! It's been a good month of learning new things and taking new actions. -

Karen Schenk 7/30/2018 8:29 PMKudos to all those who worked hard to try to be plastic free in July! -
Karen Schenk 7/30/2018 8:28 PMHusband shared a summary of a documentary he watched about diersion of plastics from a landfill to be used in combination with some steel manufacturing. A successful use of plastic. While not the answer to the production of plastic, a potential re-use rather than landfill. -

Barbara Revard 7/31/2018 5:26 PMWould love to hear how it works!
