Last Day!!!! but not really.  Plastic Free July has hopefully inspired me to think more and do more.  Hopefully this is true for others as well.

I purchased reusable plastic straws for the home. Though it is a small change, we now turn down straws whenever we get takeout because we can use our own straws from home.

We are almost at the end of our challenge.  Thinking that today or next I'll call some officials to try that out.

Picked up discarded fishing line today. Lead weights and rusty hooks. Not good

Yesterday I went out to eat with the family and they know that I'm doing this challenge. They decided to skip the straw with me.

My mom and I went grocery shopping and forgot our reusable bags in the car, so I challenged myself to carry all the groceries back without bags. I succeeded (obviously, because I’m awesome) but there was a watermelon involved and I am never forgetting to bring a bag again.

Moral: Watermelons are powerful. Obey the melon.
