Finally completed a waste audit. It's honestly not as long as i thought it would be! Looking forward to continuing this challenge for as long as possible! :)

This past month has really raised my awareness regarding what I purchase. I almost bought individually wrapped lunch snacks, but stopped myself. 

Last day! We can do it, Akron!!

Last day! I think I will make every month plastic free :).

It was definitely a challenge on some days and easier on other days. I'm very happy and proud to have participated and I'm even more aware now than ever about how important this is! Thank you Akron Zoo for another opportunity to help our community

Did anyone build any new or break any bad habits over the past 30 days?

While walking the dog, I took along a bag and picked up trash that others had thrown out.

Continuing to utilize my reusable produce bags, reusable straws and bringing my own bags to stores. It really helps keeping these items in your car and accessible at home.
