    I learned to be more conscious of the products I use and how they are packaged.

    This challenge really opened my eyes to how many products are packaged in single-use plastic. I try to stop and think before I purchase now and about what different choices I can make, even if it means buying a product that may cost a little bit more but is packaged more eco-friendly.

    I went to a sleepaway summer camp last week, where the dishes and silverware are all Styrofoam and plastic. I brought my own water bottle, silverware, and dishes, and I was really proud of how much waste I prevented from going into the trash.     I am very proud of my team and all of the plastic we've prevented from going into the oceans by adopting sustainable habits.
