During the month, I contacted our local MLB team after attending a promo shirt giveaway night where every shirt came in its own, individual poly bag; which meant that 20,000 poly bags were involved in this promo night. I was so disappointed when I discovered that requesting salad dressing "on the side" meant they'd serve it in little plastic cups. not a real one. Sigh. But I did bring the cups back to work with me...

Went out picking for the first time yesterday with some others in admin. Glad to be making a difference around our zoo and happy to say the ones who always go out picking do a great job since there was hardly any plastic/litter laying around.
